What was the highlight of Kindness Hotel Shinkuchan
Very pleasant hotel. We felt at home there, Breakfasts provided were excellent.
We liked the polite and friendly staff, and the available snacks in the dining room (congee, bao dze and ice cream). We also liked the hand-wipes for hygiene. Computer availability was good too.
In rooms 506 and 606. Furniture and wallpaper show a little wear. Some interior rooms have no windows and felt a bit damp after showers in the (nice) bathroom. AC unit temp hard to regulate.

location is good.
location is good. not too far from the mrt station. near to shinkuchan shipping area. booked a family room for 4 and it is a reasonably big room. overall i thk it is a good value for money stay there. will consider coming back again!
The bathroom shower area, water tends to flow out of it. The blinds is not well designed to prevent water from flowing out and reaching the other areas of the toliet. perhaps there are leaks from the kerb too.

Very good location, however, could hear some noises of cars and scooters in day time. Quiet at night, though.

What was the highlight of Kindness Hotel Shinkuchan
Not the usual Kinness Hotel standard we expected.
The evening snacks were very pleasant as was the breakfast buffet.
The room was absolutely freezing as was the whole hotel; it seems rather silly when you need to put on warm clothes and ask for extra blankets just because the air conditioning is set too cold and the temperature can not be adjusted. The room also had a bad smell; which the staff did try to remidy. The room had no window which is not noted on the Booking.com website.
